YVON LE GUEN: Banquo.
ANTOINE CASSENDI: Like at the casino?
YVON LE GUEN: Yes. He was Émile’s cat.
ANTOINE CASSENDI: He doesn’t smell very good. He stinks of fat.
YVON LE GUEN: He gets into everything, that’s why. Careful, he’s mean. Especially when he doesn’t know you.

ANTOINE CASSENDI: So nothing. Anyway, he doesn’t give a shit about being a general. (To the cat) Eh, you don’t give a shit. (Plays the vinyl on the turntable) I really like Verdi too.

THÉO: You washed the cat?
YVON LE GUEN: Yes. A general has to be clean. Banquo’s a general’s name.
THÉO: Isn’t Franco the general?
YVON LE GUEN: Yes, but Banquo too. They’re both generals.
