English Synopsis
Filmed production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, a comedy chronicling the love triangle that emerges between the melancholic, lovesick Duke Orsino (Pierre Vaneck); the lady Olivia (Françoise Spira), who is deep in a seven-year mourning period and refuses the attentions of men; and Viola (Annie Girardot), a young girl who disguises herself as a man named Cesario and enters the Duke’s service.
